More Food! of Sikkim
Another list of cuisine that you would like to check off your bucket list when you visit Sikkim.

1. Momos
We all already know of these sinfully delicious little balls of pure flavor. They are famous everywhere in India. But for those of you who might be returning from their decade long trip of mars and dont know about momos, I will give you a briefing.
Believed to be of Tibetan origin and modulated by the Nepalese cuisine, the momos are the lifeline of Sikkim. Momos are steamed buns with a filling. It typically consists of two parts - the cover and the filling. The cover is made of dough of white flour and water. You can decide between non vegetation and vegetatian fillings, but dont miss on the spicy chutney.
2. Thukpa
Looking after your diet? Well, this is the perfect in a balanced diet. Thukpa is a noodle soup, which originated in the eastern part of Tibet. Thukpa soup is a good source of protein and carbs as it contains chicken and various other healthy nutrients like mushroom, carrot and noodles. Even the green chilli used in Thukpa is good to boost the metabolic rate. An you thought chillies could only set your mouth on fire.
3. Dhindo
A trip to Sikkim remains incomplete without a delicious Dhindo meal which is considered to be a famous traditional food among the locals and tourists alike. Although the roots of this dish can be traced back to Nepal but it is loved amongst the people of Darjeeling and Sikkim. The delicacy is created by preparing a flour mix which is slowly added into the boiling water and combining it with butter. The flour’s primary ingredient is either barley or millet which makes it very healthy as well.

4. Kinema Currey
Kinema is a traditional fermented soybean food having characteristic stringy property with unique flavour, commonly consumed as a main side-dish curry served along with cooked rice in meals. . The delicacy of kinema can be perceived by its appealing flavour and sticky texture. The curry is served with rice.
